THIS BOOK BLEW ME . LITERALLY. PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE THIS BOOK BY ITS TITLE .
“Try to imagine a life without timekeeping. You probably can’t. You know the month, the year, the day of the week. There is a clock on your wall or the dashboard of your car. You have a schedule, a calendar, a time for dinner or a movie. Yet all around you, timekeeping is ignored. Birds are not late. A dog does not check its watch. Deer do not fret over passing birthdays. an alone measures time. Man alone chimes the hour. And, because of this, man alone suffers a paralyzing fear that no other creature endures. A fear of time running out.” ― Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper
REFLECTION : THE TIME KEEPER BY MITCH ALBOM , is not a book about Spirituality . It is about something more Important and deep - it is a book about time . How often have we used this word in our daily life. But just as the quote above says . Imagine a world without time keeping . Where you have no idea about the passing time . Where you are not worried about the next meeting .
This book is fictional . It basically tells the story of people , and how we consider time . It is a book about giving our best in the time we have and living it to the fullest. We are all Time keepers in our own ways , but keeping time is different and using it is different .
Ending with this another quote from the book.
“There is a reason God limits our days.' 'Why?' 'To make each one precious.” ― Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN INSPIRATIONAL BOOK WITH A STORY , THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU .
